A staging site is useful when you need to make radical changes to your website without affecting your live site.

ServerWand makes it super-easy to clone your existing site and synchronise changes between the two.

To get started, click the Clone App button from the Apps tab of your domain.

You'll then be prompted to enter your staging domain and server.

You'll then be taken to your new staging site. The staging site will have password protection enabled by default. You can set the password from the summary page.

Once you've made some changes you can then Push or Pull from the app tab.

Whichever you choose, you will have the option to select whether you are syncing the files, database or specific tables.

Your changes will then be automatically synced.

In the case of WordPress, it will automatically rewrite URLs and site domain setting so that you browse the staging site without being redirected.
